Subwoofer remote?

Not shopping. Just curious. Why do subs not have remote controls? They can send a man to the moon, but not put a remote on a subwoofer?

Some subs have, SVS comes to mind via app. I have an older Klipsch my Harmony remotes can work with. Mostly just not needed once setup.

Btw, I was trying to remember who on this forum recommended the HSU sub to me when I needed one back in 2019. I did a search on my own posts and it was @NINaudio . So thanks a million! I consider it a world-class sub.

in a typical 7.1 system, the gains are controlled in the AV sound processor and that includes subwoofer levels, and they all need to be set up with appropriate instrumentation when you set it up.

PS - the HSU VTF-15H Mk 2 are excellent subs - I use them myself for video.
