Umm no, I’m saying that Ted replies are not nearly that long or thought out. Ted replies short quips and put downs.

Nah, not Ted....his Ferrari is a different model and Ted just recently got his. :) They could be butt buddies, tho.
Let's be honest, Ted is full of poop. He likely doesn't own any of these things, and embellishes his experiences. His photos of exotic cars and holidays on the beach are part of his infantile defense mechanism where he shows the world how he has material things, and you don't so you're a loser, and he's awesome. It's the hallmark of a sociopathic level of inferiority.

I've driven exotic sports cars (they weren't mine, but that didn't matter, they'll still work), and when I've done so, I've taken a lot of pictures. I've been on beach holidays and also took a lot of pics. I'm sure most of us have done all of that. Finding someone who owns a sports car is free. Beach holidays aren't exactly expensive either. With Ted he props those pics up in a comedic attempt at shielding himself from his inferiority.

A year or so ago, after seeing him behaving like a child on a thread, I decided to jump in. I am so glad I made that decision. I basically told him his cables weren't anything but a pitcher of warm piss. In response he showed me a picture of him at a beach toasting the camera with some cocktail. He then went on to tell me how he's awesome living the life on some exotic beach right now, and giving me a toast, and that I'm a loser etc etc. I immediately broke out into laughing hysterics that might have woken the wife. Anyways, after I got up off the floor and cleaned up the coffee from the keyboard, I then reverse googled the image. Doing so confirmed my suspicions. I found it was part of his instagram photo album of him at Fort Walton Beach from two years previous. No offense to the wonderful folks of Fort Walton, but exotic beach, it aint. I then told him what I found and doctored his photo properly with a foot long shlong next to his porn star stash and drizzle sliding down his chin, because, well, in my opinion he was basically asking for me to do just that; so that's what I did. He immediately blocked me, and I haven't seen him since then. Mission accomplished.

I do know he's on several facebook pages that I'm on, as I see others engaging with him. A majority of the time those conversations deteriorate into his usual degenerate form of name calling, posting pics etc. What's sad is that even the most objective wine tasting avant garde audiophool isn't safe from his childish tantrums. Anyone, even someone saying, "sorry Ted, your products didn't work for me," and the guy who thinks the exotic cable market is a sham, but never mentions SR by name will be just likely as a target as the guy who calls his products a pitcher of warm piss, like I did. This is kind of weird, as I can see someone protecting disparaging remarks specifically directed to their brand; not at the level he does, but firmly dismissing criticism is fine. I fully expected he'd come back at me in such a respect when I said what I said about his cables. However, I was not properly prepared for how he did respond. If I was, I wouldn't have wasted a cup of Columbia's best import in advance of his reply. It takes a very special delicate and sensitive inferiority complex at work to break down and release their full Id on statements not directed to him, if not at all. This is exactly what he did with @gene. Gene has many pages devoted to the snake oil world of exotic cables, and somewhere along the line Ted came in contact with one of those articles and lost his poop, because that's what he does.

In conclusion
1. Ted needs help, and since I'm a human being, I hope that one day he gets the help he needs. I very much doubt that will ever happen.
2. Tell anyone you know who buys exotic branded cables to go with other brands like AudioQuest, or Kimber, or basically anyone else.
3. If you encounter Ted on a forum, poke the bear, and enjoy the poop show until he blocks you. Doing so will certainly push someone away from doing business away from him if they were on the fence.

I was an admin for that group at the time. I dunno what happened... ;)
Ted did his typical little pee pee song dance to Mark about how he has a sweet sports car etc etc... Ted even ran away from Mark at a show, and Mark isn’t exactly a physical specimen either... well, Mark laughed at him, booted him out, and even had an ongoing post called Ted Said, where he and others would lampoon the latest nonsense that came out of his mouth.

I believe it's time for a completely inappropriate joke at Ted's expense:

Q: How do they separate the men from the boys at Synergistic Research?

A: With a crowbar!

Just for the heck of it I searched Synergistic Research on eBay. There are a ton of used SR cables for sale with no bidders. A lot of people wasted hard earned money on this stuff only to discover it doesn't live up to the hype, and now they're stuck with it.

As much as I enjoy poking fun of Ted, the reality is a lot of people are getting screwed.

Gene, this thread got mentioned in AVS forum and everyone is calling Denney a douche. Denney is a fraud and makes money by stealing it from the gullable. Hang in there Gene. Everyone is rooting for you. I'm a member of many forums and I will share this thread in these forums as well. COVID is strong enough to bring aholes driving Ferraris wearing sissy gloves down. His time of reckoning is coming. Karma's a bitch.

Or it could be his dealers dumping cables on Ebay at below retail to attract people foolish enough to waste their money on snake oil.

Oh I believe SR themselves have been known to do that.

Me and some others looked at that a year or two ago. It’s apparent that he dumps his products after an initial product launch, and quickly rebrands those same products (nothing has changed). He just takes that same product, slaps a “quantum running technology” sticker on it, and sales it for twice the already asinine cost. But he has to unload the old stuff first.

eBay is just part of his carnival con milk run of lunacy. Most of those parts are from the same vendor, and not people unloading his products.

If someone offers him a fraction of the selling price on eBay they will sell it to you, because the margin is already astronomical.

This is all part of what should make it very clear that he’s a total bum. He doesn’t own any exotic sports cars or live like a playboy. He’s a total fraud.

It's incalculable to my brain how anyone can operate like this in life.

How about the magazines that give this guy's products awards?
They are in bed with him, and those magazine are a joke. It’s one big circle jerk of money which they robbed from the ignorant and gullible. Those same magazines are in bed with all exotic cable vendors. Gene and and I had the pleasure of running into the editor of one magazine (I think TAS) on Facebook. When Gene called him out on the cables, the editor softball threatened Gene with legal action for slander. Gene laughed at him and said go ahead, and the bozo quickly changed his tune.

They are all full of poop and they know it.

What makes Ted so awful is the zero sum game he plays with any level of attacks to anything remotely hurting his delicate psyche. He hopes you remember the experience as so shocking you don’t waste your time challenging him in the least possible way.

Ted doesn’t want to convince anyone of the quantum tunneling effect on his cables. He just wants you to accept it, or he unleashes his full Id. For the already initiated he just flaps his jaws brings them in. If you’re a magazine that stands to make serious cash on the deal, you take that over the likely barrage of attacks for not doing so.

This tool doesn't know what Quantum Tunneling is, guaranteed! And, he certainly won't understand how to use it for cables. In fact, very few people in the history of science truly understand quantum tunneling, like the people that pioneered quantum physics.

It's just something he heard about, realizes that very few people would understand or question, so throws these words into his bag of tricks to befuddle his marks.

Quantum tunnelling or tunneling (US) is the quantum mechanical phenomenon where a subatomic particle's probability disappears from one side of a potential barrier and appears on the other side without any probability current (flow) appearing inside the well. Quantum tunnelling is not predicted by the laws of classical mechanics where surmounting a potential barrier requires enough potential energy.

Quantum conductivity
While the Drude model of electrical conductivity makes excellent predictions about the nature of electrons conducting in metals, it can be furthered by using quantum tunnelling to explain the nature of the electron's collisions.[24] When a free electron wave packet encounters a long array of uniformly spaced barriers the reflected part of the wave packet interferes uniformly with the transmitted one between all barriers so that there are cases of 100% transmission. The theory predicts that if positively charged nuclei form a perfectly rectangular array, electrons will tunnel through the metal as free electrons, leading to an extremely high conductance, and that impurities in the metal will disrupt it significantly.[24]

That’s the thing... He probably does understand it at a basic first paragraph Wikipedia level, and knows what he’s doing. He uses this complicated, rarely understood phenomena to describe how his products work and differentiate from others. He waits for eyes to gloss over and continues his spill of nonsense. If you aren’t mesmerized by the BS then he knows he can go into attack mode.
