i never really gave a tought on my sub, i dont know what spec i need for a good sub. i dont want a overpowered sub that will destroy my room
If you are wondering if it’s possible for a single 10” sub to sound great to you, the answer is, “Yes, it is possible because I used to own a single 10” sub with 80 watts”.

Can a bigger more expensive sub sound great? Yes.

Will it be worth your money?

If your current sub already gives you great bass, then it might not be worth it, especially if you are on a budget.

The BIG question is.... until i can compare both in my room, its hard to go in store an evaluate other sub

So far if i round up what ihave for info.

not sure anymore about 7.1 but i might go with atmos 2 or 4 in ceiling speaker. I might update my center and right left speaker and my sub.

Now for my room i need to know what kind of a spec for my speaker a requier. I have nothing against other brand but i would really like klipsch if possible, unless everyone telling me i should go with something else. Budget speaking is mid range

Speakers are so subjective that I can't tell you that an upgrade there is worth it for you. If it were me, I would absolutely upgrade the speakers. You should definitely consider upgrading the subwoofer at least.

As for Atmos, you need to go through this guide before making any decisions on Atmos, so you know what need to be done to achieve an Atmos system.
what do you recomand if i want to go atmos for my room?

The Klipsch RP series is very good, a significant improvement over previous speakers. But that isn't just for more loudness, it's for more accurate sound reproduction. Definitely look at Paradigm Premier speakers which are manufactured in Canada- those are very good! You can get Monoprice Monolith THX speakers in Canada through Amazon.ca. You can get SVS speakers in Canada. So there are a few good choices for you.
Any particular Klipsch RP you can recommand. There is a couple of series in the RP. Good for the money without breaking the bank

You might look at in-ceiling speakers from Revel, Polk, Infinity, Klipsch. They should all be fine.

For the Klipsch RP series, I would go with the speakers that have as large woofer as you can afford. Not because they will get louder, but because they will have better directivity control, in other words, they will have a more consistent sound over their area of coverage. Look at the tower speakers with 8" woofers if you can.

I guess the RP 8000f could be a good choice. Do you think that at 7 meters, my ceiling is high enough to accomodate 4 in ceiling speaker for atmos?

The RP-8000F was reviewed recently here and found to be an excellent speaker.

Before planning on 4 Atmos speakers, you should consider the cost of a good 11 channel AVR. A decent one will set you back around $1.5k to $2k or more. Your room can handle it, but can your pocket book?

I loved Klipsch when I was younger and really have been delighted with there new reference premier lineup they really stepped up there game

I owned 3 RP8000fs for my front 3 and were absolutely delighted with them excellent excellent speakers.

I'm thinking the RP 8000fs for your left right there RP center looks legit so those 3 for up front unless you run 3 towers in the front like I do. Lol

Then down the road 4 rp600m the 6inch bookshelves for your surrounds and rear surrounds

The reference premier in ceilings for your atmos and you have a pretty killer system
going on there

P.S. a dynamic system like that for home theater deserves some epic subs to match
Let us know what budget you would set aside for subs and we can give you some good recommendations in your price range

o_O :( ii thought that th one i already got was very good (this one here) i am willing to change my setup, but not sure i want to go down to a new AVR. Why going to 11 channel? Is 9.2 not enough?

You ought to go 7.1 before you go Atmos. I suppose you could go 7.1.2. All those speakers can a tough load on an AVR amplifier. It might work, if you don't drive it really hard.

What’s “enough”?

Is something “worth it”?

Only you can decide these very SUBJECTIVE OPINIONS.

My room is 22FT x 26FT x 14FT ceiling. If I were asking for opinions, some people would say I need at least 7.2.4 because that’s what THEY would do.

But my system is 5.10.4. Not because I cannot do 9.10.6 but because 5.10.4 is “enough” for me and “worth it” for me.

I don’t need 7.2.4 or 7.2.6 or any other combination.

There is no wrong answer.

Yes. 9.2 is enough for 5.1.4. I believe 5.1.4 is better than 7.1.2. The rear surrounds don’t contribute an overwhelming amount of sound and a well laid out 5.1.4 will be more immersive. Especially with front to back overhead panning. The missing top speakers will be much more noticeable than missing rear surrounds. In fact when my system was only 5.x I could hear things behind me(depending on the track) and when I added rear surrounds, the impact was small. Although for myself, in this room, I wouldn’t go back to 5ch base, but for what you’ve got that’s the better setup. 5.1.4.
