I don't. I just use the websites from the delivery services. I didn't have the tracking number, though, until tonight after I let the person know that I hadn't gotten the item, yet.
Ah-ha that would make sense.

On a side note, I'm hoping these never come to fruition, else I'm 99% sure I would be overwhelmingly compelled to build them.

Could be ;) Although I thin its more likely that it's a prototype. There are actually two versions, the one I posted with the dual 18's or a full range version that's a straight up 3-way with a single 18" of higher quality.

With a pair of these things you'd be approaching jet plane at takeoff from 50m away type levels. Combine them with a few FTW-21" subs and you could give IMAX (or Walter) a run for their (his) money.

Niki and I joined a neighbor and a dog that she's watching today on our walk this morning. The two pooches had met before and gotten along well, so we had them both off the leash on a trail nearby. They were getting along fine...and then something happened and the other dog bit down on Niki's ear and wouldn't let go. I've never heard Niki make the noise that she was making before - it clearly wasn't pleasant. It took a good five to ten seconds for me to pry the other dog's jaw apart (she clearly didn't want to let go). Luckily (and surprisingly), Niki's ear seems fine - I can't see any blood. I couldn't tell at the time where all the dog was biting, and I was scared about her eyes and ears. She seemed essentially back to normal once we got away from the other dog, though (my neighbor walked back home the opposite way that we did). I was anxious at first because there were drops of blood on my hand as I was inspecting her face, and it took a few seconds for me to confirm that none of it was hers...apparently jamming my hands into the mouth of a biting dog had consequences. :)

Anyway, Niki seems fine, and the other pooch is apparently also fine. Hopefully they'll get along again in the future, but I don't think we'll walk them together without leashes again.

I'm glad she's OK. Have they both had their rabies shots. If the other dog hasn't and drew blood from you, well....you might want to check that out.

Might try carrying a super soaker next time. Cold water normally ends fighting. If that doesn't work you may have to go with pepper. It definitely sucks for your dog, but better some discomfort than death or serious injury.

Happy Niki and you are ok. Wonder what could have set the other dog off.

@Adam Glad to hear you and Niki are ok. What an odd thing to have happen.

Samsung tech came and went in about 5 minutes. According to him the buzzing has to be above 70 something db's before they'll do anything about it. I think I've been asked if I'm familiar with plasma buzz about 75 times by samsung reps. Yes I am and no, none of the panasonics I've had or seen in person buzzed like these Samsungs.

Nor does Walter's Pio Kuro either. That damn thing is silent and still produces a great picture at 720P.

Thanks! Also, thanks for the info about the tech. I'm glad that I didn't wait for one. 70+ dB?! Are you s***ing me?! That's almost reference level for some receivers. Holy ish, man. They really don't want to make it right, do they? Glad mine is going back. Well, not glad it's going back...but glad that I choose not to live with the buzz. Are you still planning to keep yours?

Yea, I gave him a bit of a look when he said that. He also said that he has a Samsung plasma and it's louder than the one I have. I told him that a $3000 TV shouldn't make any noise. He just kinda shrugged.

Yea I'm going to keep it. I can live with the buzzing and the picture is still most excellent.

I am happy to see that you will keep your panel Fuzz , I swear without a doubt there is very minimal if any buzz at all from my panel I did 150 hour break in with the same slides I used on my Pioneer 500m and I think the sammy is very close to the kuro in PQ , I still have not moved the sammy to the HT as my house is just about as close as you can get to a tornado blindsiding you with out it actually happening. We have a target date of completion around Easter or just shortly after, too many projects with too too little time.

To chime in on the Sammy experience, my 7000 brightness flash issue doesn't jump out at me at all when watching Blu-rays. However broadcast shows like The Mentalist of The Amerikans have enough of it that it can be occasionally annoying. The off axis viewing angle isn't as good as the Panny it replaced. I only know this because sometimes I'll use the floor in front of the TV to crack my back. I guess the black levels are better than the Panny and it's like 40% more screen so it's a solid step up. It also runs a lot cooler and is a lot lighter.

I'm at 59" now and looking forward to a time when the 65" V and Z series Pannies hit the used market at under a grand ... plus the 4311 lust. I just had the wildest idea ever. I'm going to hook my DIY subs up to the H/T but leave the subs themselves in Mantown. The 2 PS10's that are in the living room H/T can remain and continue to pump out a signal that has had some of the boominess EQ'ed out of the signal. I think the TLS aligned DIY jobs should be able to handle the full LFE signal without any training wheels.

Okay, it MIGHT be the drugs.

I know what you mean.
EDIT: (Forgot to mention: It's not that they don't want to make it right. They can't make it right even if they wanted to.
I found a white paper on the problem a few months ago. It said it was due to an irregular tolerance between the spacers in the individual plasma cells.
I thought I saved it.... have to look for it.)
They have to stick with, "This is not the buzz you're looking for."
Since all plasma TVs are out of production, it's either live with it or send it back kinda thing.
Too bad, sounds like a nice picture.:(
