How could I resist? After seeing only a half hour of the first one, I had to watch the whole darn thing this time. The sharks have moved east. Leaving behind ruins in LA, it's NYC's turn to get a tornado full of sharks. Only this time it's not JUST a tornado. It's a hurricane, snowstorm and nor'easter carrying wind and sharks, moving up the coast right toward the Big Apple. The movie was shot during winter and there was snow in the city, so they had to re-write the script and the principles of meteorology to have FROZEN tornadoes full of sharks. Action starts right away when an airline pilot gets eaten by a shark in flight and it only goes downhill from there. Bad writing, cheesy FX, sharks everywhere, even in the subway, water rising in buildings when there's none in the streets, sharks on fire, being chased in a car by the head of the Statue of Liberty, characters falling from the skies, snow and cold, wisecracking cabbies, big tanks full of freon 30 years after it was banned, 6 foot long chainsaws,a propane slingshot and stalwart New Yorkers....what more could you ask of a movie? It just doesn't get any better than this! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWY4-u9Ewdc
