Thanks for the good wishes.
BSA, rich people have "expansive lawns". I just have a lot of grass to cut.
MWH, I agree. Would much rather do lawn chores than laundry chores. If the wife ever gets laid up, I guess she'll laugh with her friends over a picture of me in front of the washer/dryer.
Darian, yep. Tore the first repair off during physical therapy a month after the surgery. Weak for the last 10 years, but just lately painful... thus the retry. Since then, I have learned not to put tomato in a fruit salad, and "no pain, no gain" is not necessarily an effective mantra during physical therapy.
And finally Adam. Oh ye of little faith. I could dole out close-ups of footprints, hair, scat... or quotes from residents of the nearest trailer park, but somehow I'm not sure even that would be enough for you. So here ya go...
Same Magnolia tree on the left... same Fig tree on the right.
"Snake hat" on head, (because snakes DO drop out of trees!!!). (In case any of you Mason-Dixon Challenged people are unaware, big straw hats have nothing to do with protection from the sun. They are protection from snakes dropping out of trees onto your head. At least, according to my wife.
)
Thanks again for all the well wishes. And my thanks to all of you!!! A nice HT makes recovery a lot more pleasant!!!
