Can't wait to get my hands on them - they are scheduled to show up on Monday. If nothing else comes up, I'll have 1 evening to listen to them before the movers come and get them!

Well I am sure that you know - if a lot of things are packed and you have a
lot of bare spaces - then reflection city may take over. Maybe you can get
a feel for them.

I should've phrased my post better. The packers will be here on Tuesday and the movers on Wednesday. So, nothing will be packed until Tuesday and we should be good for an audition, albeit a very brief one.

UPS tracking says Monday. It's going to be a long weekend. It took Shopatron 48 to prepare the order for shipping. They must have been real busy the last few days.

I wasn't able to cancel the order Monday (even though I wasn't given a tracking number until Tuesday) or I would have ordered the 5.0 in Maple. Oh well. My fault for not acting quicker.

Good deal - they are clearly better than your Focal Chorus V.

Do you still have them on top of the Focal towers?

No, that was just the first day that I had them. I went out and got a pair of stands.

The Focals will be on the market next week.

No, I do not

While they are a lower level - they should be real nice >> based on what
MB Quart can do - they look well built, and should give a lot of mid-level
speakers today a fit - however, the Alexxa would be cheaper (close-out).

Based on what I can pick up - there are no real complaints on the Alexxa
series.

24" Sanus from Best Buy but I think I am going to return them because they are not sturdy enough.
I will probably go with the Dayton Audio SSMB24 steel stands.

They are not using the same drivers from what I can tell on their website so I doubt they sound as good as the Vera's and being only $50 cheaper I don't know if I want to take the plunge on them.

I did read the review by audioholics and they might be worth it but not sure.
