Donald Fagan "Kamakiriad" 45 RPM MoFi

I've always liked this CD. It was only issued on LP in Europe and right now those go from $140 to $224 on Discogs. I like it better than Steely Dan's post -Royal Scam albums, but not better than Steely Dan's first five albums. Anyway, MoFi has issued a 2-LP 45 RPM limited to 4000 numbered copies for $125. I wanted to order one, but that's a lot of cash for me at the moment. So I played my CD on my Marantz DV-9600 DVD player that @TLS Guy gave to me and it sounds fabulous. I do not need the Mofi. The CD sounds brilliant on that player. The MoFi is a One-step, so definitely collectable. LOL cannot imagine paying $125 for a vinyl anything. Let alone not using it and just saving it as a collectible (but I don't do collectibles for anything except by accident). Then I generally find Steely Dan simply boring music.

I meant, after listening to the CD if I had the lp, I would keep it sealed so I can sell it in 5 years for hopefully a tidy profit. Because after listening to it on CD the mofi won't be necessary.
I just think of that Santana that was a very similar release sold for $99. I can't remember what year that was but last I checked it was well over two grand. It may have approached 3,000 bucks, which is really something. Not saying this will do that because if I had a crystal ball and it was supposed to happen then I would buy it!
