Remember the day when they said computers (instead paperwork) will make things faster for everyone. Sure doesn't seem like it sometimes.
Word. The guy finally gets the paperwork done, and there's a charge. It should have been free. I have a rattle in my rear view mirror, and I asked if they'd take a look at it. After the guy said that would take a while, I said don't worry about it and just do the routine service. Well, they did take a look at it - and charged me over $30 for it. They didn't replace it...they didn't fix it...they just "confirmed customer's concern." Well, s**t, I don't need to pay someone $30 to confirm that the f***ing thing rattles. What got me upset was that no one ever asked for my permission to perform work that would cost extra. They just did it, and then charged me. I explained that to the guy, and told him that I'd pay the bill but I wouldn't be coming back. Now, I'm going to e-mail the owner of that dealership to let him know that they got their $30, but they're not going to see another dime. I drove out of my way to go to that dealership because they struck me as upfront and honest folks, but to me, this was neither.
