Before he got old and wasted, Elvis was really, really good, especially on ballads and gospel.

He was an outstanding performer, amazing talent,no doubt that soon he would have had a world wide carrier...:( The most important in my opinion is that he sang for the people, not for their money...he loved the people and they loved him back...I think that is very rare in that world of fame and money...I can't name any lookalike in this world.

R.I.P. Tose:(

Does he sing any of his "own" music? I see a bunch of OTHER peoples songs none of his.
Yes,of course. He has plenty of albums,in Macedonian mainly and also Serbo-Croatian language. He had very rich music carrier, very productive. The purpose of giving you links with other peoples' songs is for you to understand the text and see how good he sang. His English album is coming out on his birthday, this 25th of January, "The Hardest Thing".

Serbo-Croatian language.
Didn't America blow that language to kingdom come?

From doing a quick read here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toše_Proeski

it seems like Tose worked for a Serbian recording company. There wasn't a lot of talk about his involvement with Croatians other than 1 song being in that language. I'm sure there were more but only one is listed. (I think.) That might have something to do with his father being Orthodox. Wanting to represent former Yugoslavia in a singing competition wouldn't endear him to many Croatians.

It's odd that I've yet to hear a Croatian use the term Serbo-Croatian to describe their language.

I'm mildly surprised that Croatia wasn't accused of murdering him in the name of fascism.

Edit: I mean that in a good way.

Speaking notorious...I won't even speak more about Tose Proeski,as a conversation with people like you, obviously Greek, would put a dark dot on his name...I am Macedonian BTW,and Tose was Macedonian also.I don't understand the presence of fascism nowadays and calling some nation with other name than its original, historical name.I think we don't need nationalism here,as this a audioholic forum, not a historical. So stop blaming yourself here, and keep your national feelings for yourself!

Good thing your English is a disaster. Otherwise my feelings would be hurt.

TIP: Don't use words if you don't know what they mean. ;)

Yeah, I still don't even really get what is going on... but it would be kinda sweet if this forum started a war between Macedonia and Greece over a cover-artist named Tose.
