Funny how different e-cultures can be interpreted differently by so many folks. I was the first one to reply to said thread and I am not ashamed/regretful about it, as it was clearly a joke, and I did go on to offer useful advice and admit to it being a joke, not to mention offer to a Mod to delete/change the post so future posters didn't see it. And I apologize if that's all it took to push the OP "over the edge," but if certain things like this can frustrate some of you to a point of questioning people's class or morals, you all need to log off and step back into the real world for a little while, BECAUSE PEOPLE DO MUCH WORSE.

I will not feed the troll next time, especially the troll who plays the ignorant girl card and only registers/logs on to fiend for attention and sell use items that a friend left her, or so "she" claims.

I'll admit - I thought that it was a poor joke and didn't reflect well on this site, probably entirely because it was the first response to a new member. Heck, a number of us make jokes a lot worse that that to each other, but we know each other. I'll give every new member the benefit of the doubt when they come here asking questions. You did post other things, but I think that was after you were called on it (of course, just my impression).

That's it right there, Adam. If you wouldn't say something to a person's face, don't post it either. Most of us have to work around the "WAF/GAF", so when a rare female comes along to ask for advice, we should bend over backwards (Yes Adam, I know - you prefer to bend over forwards, but you get my drift, right?) to help out. Not because we're a bunch of geeks who should be overjoyed to receive female attention, but to welcome more women into full participation in our A/V obsession.
