Flagstaff, AZ. Nice town. The railroad goes right through the town. I never did mind it though when I was there because I love trains.

Listen to the roar of those diesel engines as it passes through. It's addicting. It gives me goose bumps.

Interesting, must have an ordinance in the town on horn blowing ? The train did not blow for the grade crossing ?

Good catch. Yes, no horn. But that seems to be the norm these days. For safety reasons, I'm not sure I completely agree with it though.

usually where that is in place the grade crossings are protected by both 'lights & gates'. Regardless, the engineer still has the discretion of blowing the horn if warranted.
