This morning I filled up at $3.22/gal, the time before that it was $3. What are you doing with 43,000 gallons of fuel in a week, warp?

Filled up this morning, that was $80 gone. Oil companies are taking my money faster than the wife can.

My dad just retired from doing that They had like 25 big service trucks (heavy equipment and paving), so he was buying MILLIONS of gallons a year.

I KNEW the prices would go back up as soon as I bought a car that used Premium fuel again

Running the generators to power big subs....

Own a small gas station/carwash/service station, and we move alot of gas - give or take -about to 2,000,000 gal a year..... a tanker truck hauls 8600 gal, and we fill our tanks at least 4-5 times a week....

Gotta have all that money fluid on a regular basis, thats $130K per week at $3 a gallon cost... and there's very little margin on a gallon of gas in a competitive, market think pennies , changes daily so the object of the game is buy low and sell high, don't get stuck with a load as the price is going to start going down....

That no longer is driving prices. Speculators and 'whatever the market will bare' does.

You need to start buying oil futures.

Well, I have to maintain an inventory over 200,000 gallons diesel.
    I'm the child of the household, so why shouldn't I get all the T O Y S
(my wife just won't let me buy them)

I really feel sorry for the independent truckers right now. Fuel surcharges or not, they have a tough time making ends meet when it rises this fast.
