I just e-mailed them this morning. I didn't come out and ask for a replacement, but I did mention wanting to give it a fair review. The Vine program removed that item from my list of products to review (which they do if they can't replace a defective item), so I'm not obligated to review it anymore. However, it is a stunning watch. Sure, it looks like a desk clock on my wrist, but the thing is built like a tank and (IMO) quite attractive. I'd give them a great review if I knew for sure that this wasn't a quality control issue.Originally Posted by gmichael

It is a quality control issue. Any decent local watch repair shop should be able to fix it inexpensively if it's just a matter of resetting the hands.

Just cleaned and conditioned the leather in the backseat of the car. I was going to do that for the whole car, but I got lazy. I hope more of the conditioner wipes off after a while because it's still a bit slick.

I just found out that Kate Mulgrew, who played Captain Janeway on Star Trek Voyager (which I'm watching right now), was about my age in the first season. She just seems infinitely more mature than I feel.
