Whats a good low priced 5.1 receiver that has HDMI repeater on it? I was looking at the Yamaha RX-V363 but not sure about the repeater part. Its for a bedroom so i dont want anything too big. I have a RX-V663 in my living room.

What are other ways to put my music thats on my computer to my yamaharx-v663? I know about the YDS-10 Universal Dock but i dont have an ipod. What are some other good ways?

Well im about to move everything around and that means i have to disconnect all 7 speakers and then do it all over again. I would rather stop the hassel now for future moves. I just bought them from monoprice anyways. But no sound quality lost correct?

hum, i thought it wouldnt put out any sound at all, but anyways i know they are connected correctly. So your saying the PLIIx adds the sound to the sides and then the back speakers. I dont see anything wrong with that, wouldnt that make it more surround sounding?

ok just making sure, that would not make any sense to me at all. If someone did hook up the polarity wrong....you wouldnt get any sound out of the speaker correct?

yup i checked and actually had my friend look too and they are correct. I thought about putting banana plugs on the end so that they are easier to connect to the receiver.

Does anyone use the banana plugs to connect the speakers to the receiver? Are they worth it? It seems like they would be easier to use than bare wires.

Well im going to keep my set up the way it is. I get plenty of sound out of my front right, left and center speaker that i really dont need the extra 2 back speakers to help with that. Now about the polarity. I have the wires conneceted correct, +to+ and -to-. Since im getting the polarity...

Yeah i have ran the auto setup and it gave me the W1 warning, out of phase, for the front left and center. I should leave that alone right? For dialogue out...just wanted more sound out of the back left and right speakers.

Well i was thinking i would want them to preform like when im in 7 ch stereo, but changing the back 2 extra speakers to preform like the fronts might make it too loud amd not sound right, huh?

ok gotcha!I see the PCM light up in a few different field modes. When watching a movie i pushed a button to show the info and it said on the screen of the movie "TrueHD 5.1" so i guess i got it right finally. Here is another question. Whats better to watch...lets says Spierdman3 via HDMI...

what if i twist the wires of the front and back right togheter and placed them in the front right connector on the reciever and same for left?

I have the Yamaha RX-V663....so do i put the receiver on multi ch?
