Who does the outsourcing? It's not the Indian engineers."You never hear anyone argue that there are too many Indian engineers do you and that some system or process needs to be put in place to lessen the number of Indian engineers."
Ever talk to a US-based engineer whose department was at risk for being outsourced? Doesn't sound like it. How about a US-based engineer whose department at a US Defense contractor was at risk for being outsourced? The people I'm referring to have an Indian guy as their boss and not a single one can stand him. Even his bosses don't like him and they all think he's a complete tool, yet he's still there.
Color shouldn't matter- qualifications should be the main criterion, not employment ratios.
Greed is what kills companies.
The Indian engineers we have in our company are excellent and better than half the Americans I graduated with. Diversity makes us stronger not weaker. Bad companies will die and their good workers will find jobs at better companies.
