Hoping some wisdom out there can help me out. I'm in the process of setting up a home theater system. I've narrowed down my speaker selection to Martin Logan fronts (either Ascents or Aeons), ML center channel (Cinema), and rear surrounds/center are in-ceiling quality Speakercrafts. I haven't decided on a sub to complete my 6.1 surround yet. I will be using a Zone 2 to drive 7 speakers througout the inside of the house and Lanai for entertainment purposes. By the way, dimensions of the media room are 24x14x14(cathedral ceiling). My main question is with the above information, would the Yamaha RX-V2400 be powerful enough to drive the above system or do I NEED to get a pre-amp/amplifier set up? If the above system can be driven appropriately with 1 unit, which are recommended? If consensus is pre-amp/amp set up, which products do you guys recommend to make the system sound right? I appreciate any and all comments. Thanks.
