That is ok at best for sacd...there are others much better mixed...other bands I mean. I'm not knocking it...I have DSOTM on cd, sacd, tape, vinyl. Not a CD, but an SACD of "Dark Side Of The Moon".(Pink Floyd obviously)
Haven't even taken the plastic wrapping off yet. Waiting to take a 2 hour block of time, to just sit in my HT, and listen to the entire album without any interuptions. My kind of QUIET time.Joe B.
Also just bought my second copy of 'Time Warp' by Telarc. It's actually a collection of different Movie, TV, and select symphony pieces, done by the Cincinatti Pops, and it was put out by Telarc, who has their own recording technique that makes anything they put out sound better than any other recordings that I've ever heard. Had to buy another copy of TIME WARP because the 1st copy WALKED AWAY on me. Great reference type of CD.
Not sure if this forum has enough members to support to may sub-forums but you could always start your own thread on a genre.mnnc said:I think it would be really great to post with persons of like taste that can relate to certain genres/bands/gear.
My first rig was actually 1chI mean, I read a bunch of this stuff and it's starting to show my age which is totally acceptable...pardon the pun on totally. I think it would be really great to post with persons of like taste that can relate to certain genres/bands/gear. Many of us started with 2ch rigs wayyyyy before the muti-ch stuff came about.
The first album I owned was The Beatles Second Album, received as a gift from my grandparents. The first album I bought was The Guess Who 'Share The Land'It may have already happened here but in another forum someone started a “What was the first Album (LP) you bought.” It had legs for awhile but not that many members to keep it alive. For the record my first LP was “Whipped Cream and Other Delights” by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass
