I have the Polk Audio LSi series ( that is,
LSi15's for the front, LSiC for the center,
LC265i's for three rear surrounds ) and
I am in the process of upgrading a
James Loudspeaker EMB-1000 to a
Velodyne HGS-15X.

The Polk's are outstanding for movie content
and from good to very good for music, that
is top end is great, mid range good.

Looking forward to the HGS-15X!

i want to buy a floorstanding speaker but i am not sure wht brand i will choose . the reviews of the stores are some times to extreme, meaning one review says that it is veryvery good then the other one will say that it is a waste of money. thank you for any advice that you give

I am using an old pair of Akai speakers (circ. 80) as the front speakers still sound good
Hopefully I can upgrade them , I wonder if I can use them as rear speaker?

The Plan over the next Year is to Add 2 x Paradigm Monitor 7's as Rears and 1 x Paradigm CC-370 Center Channel for a 5.1.

Very Interesting Poll. Axiom has cornered 8% of the audioholics market. I'd have to say thats impressive. Well, I credit this website for spurring me to purchase M80s Vp150 and M2i for sorround and rears. M80s were overmatched by my main amp, got Legacy Focus 20/20s instead, and match made in heaven was created. I still power the center and sorrounds with a Cinenova Grande 5, and the mains with MArk Levinson 336 dual monoblock. I am thinking of unloading the M80s and VP150.
