I personally have several. But, if I had to select only one it would have to "Stairway To Heaven" by Zepplin. I just never get tired of hearing that one. Another strong contender would have to be "Turn The Page" by Bob Segar. I also like Metallica's rendition as well. Great thread so lets keep it going. :):)

Cheers,

Phil

Most any good bass-heavy electronica will put a smile on my face.

If I Should Fall From Grace With God by the Pogues. Not only is it a fine song, but it leads into a great album with 13 songs to go. There is a Youtube video of the song and the entire band and audience is really infectious with energy.

Interesting concept. I have a couple.

For the song I'd say Sense by the Lightning Seeds. A snappy little pop tune from the 90's.

For a CD I'll add What is Beat by the English Beat. Never fails to get my toes tapping. I'm in a good mood 99% of the time but whenever I need a lift this is where I go. I haven't heard Float On but I'll check it out.

**I checked out Float On on iTunes and I've heard that song many times and it's a good one.**
You're the only other person I've ever known of who knows that group/song. It's a pretty damn good disc and I have to agree with you on that.

This'll probably lose me a lot of credibility here, but there are many times a month where I'm just dreading going to the office in the morning. I burned a single song as my go to disc when I'm really aggrivated:

"The Lion Sleeps Tonight"

I just put that on, and I just can't take my angst seriously anymore.
