99.99% of consumers will have never heard of Jamo - ever.

Bose - Sony - Pioneer- Denon - Klipsch ... in fact 90 % of the 99 will know Vizio before Jamo ... or elac ...

Let me help you with this one. You have absolutely no way of knowing what people know that you don't know. Highfigh qualified it by age. Do you know dynaco? I can guarantee you most over the age of 50 do. Take the blinders off and enjoy the hobby.

Totally disagree.
Highfigh said it quite well.
My father in law, who is a simple cattle farmer in central mn knows who jamo is. The system he had professionally installed before the One I built, was an all Jamo speaker system, circa 1997ish. The speakers were really good, except the fartbox bandpass sub.

I love multi-ch music, there's not a lot out there but can be quite good. Some genres can even be matrixed well enough.

99%? Where do you come up with these numbers?

They know Vizio because WalMart and Best Buy sell that one.

Jamo is still in business, too.

It comes in a multi-ch format. Like on dvd or blu-ray or dvd-a or sacd multi-ch etc. Steven Wilson is a good source of multi-ch mixes, not only for his band Porcupine Tree and his solo efforts, but has done multi-ch remixes for a variety of groups, here's the FB page with info https://www.facebook.com/swremixes

Well thanks for this holy poop I didn’t realize the demand- this guy Wilson was asked by Rush to remix their cd to
5.1 ...
The immersion must be spectacular when its mixed spot on ...
My next venture into Audio - starting with Rush.

Not a Rush fan so can't say how that one worked out. I do have several Porcupine Tree and Solo 5.1 discs, plus several of his remixes of ELP and Jethro Tull and have some Yes and King Crimson on my shopping list.

If you're a fan of Pink Floyd, the SACD 5.1 mix for DSotM is quite good; Dire Straits Brothers In Arms another....

I said how, not what.
One is more chocolaty, one is more minty, one is more airy and opens up, one is more forward and bright, one is more clinical and vanilla, one is warmer, one is sweeter, and one is more spicy with a dash of cinnamon. :D

MacCallan is my go-to Scotch. Pretty smooth. I had to give away a bottle of Laphroaig, it was harder for me to drink than gasoline.
