Godsmack is one of my favorite heavy bands. Stoked, got good seats AND they were discounted. Never got to see STP, will not be quite the same without Scott, but I checked youtube and they still sound good. Friend of mine was friends with STP in college, they're from around here.

Should be a great show. Assume you’re going to Mountain View. It’s a great outdoor venue. Loved seeing Neil Young’s Bridge school benefit shows there years ago. The last show I saw there was Jeff Beck and Santana. Saw at night after a Pats-Raiders game earlier in the day. I was wiped out by the end. Enjoy!

Yep, Shoreline. I've seen The Bridge Benefit before too. Last show I saw there was Korn, Gojira, Spiritbox last summer. Hopefully will get tickets to Staind + Seether for the Break the Cycle 25th anniversary tour today. I've seen Staind three times already, back in the day, basically because they are my daughter's favorite band.

To play around with; in my polk ES-35 side surround speakers..

...and Yes I know these speakers are not audiophile quality; however, they function OK to reproduce footsteps, slamming doors (side sound effects) etc. in movies...
I may (will likely) have to get a couple of L pads to lower the levels, slightly.

My old boss many years ago, early 2000's went to a concert in Tinely Park IL, knew the drummer of Godsmack, we hung out with him (think he was the 2nd one), got to go back stage and he was dating Alyssa Milano and got to meet her. One of the best concerts I ever went to. Side note I think he was kicked out of the bad for drug use not soon after. I did not partake in any of that

I have been talking to a bunch of vendors who think the Sony/TCL is not as bad as people think, but still decided to go with the LG TV. LG G5 83". Five Year Panel Warranty is not bad. Drove to ABT Electronics today as it is about 45-minute drive from my house.

Just posted this in another forum, but quick tips if you buy from ABT:
1) They do better pricing on TV's in store, because they can't go against MFRs advertised Price
2) It doesn't hurt to ask if they can do better on pricing, in my case it worked out well!
3) Will update picture when TV gets set up
