I will definitely be gently suggesting that we travel somewhere that we can do that. My wife doesn’t like whiskey, but I have loved bourbon and whiskey my whole life. Hopefully I can twist her arm. I will also knock on your door if we ever get that way, appreciate the offer. Would love to sample your collection.
Interestingly enough, I just finished a Woodford reserve distillers select. Curious about the double oaked, as the DS is very oaky already. Just picked up a new bottle of KC9. People say how woody the KC12 is. Wonder if it’s similar to the WR double oaked. My friend grabbed a bottle of Angels envy. He said it’s excellent, and I trust his taste. He’s had more than enough top shelf pours in his collection. Someone else recently gifted me some moonshine from Louisiana. Said his guy took it from his private collection. NOT the stuff that’s “for sale” lol. It’s very potent! Oddly smooth too.
Hmm. Must be 5:00…..
The Woodford Double Oak make the best Old Fashioned it’s not an overpowering double oak like some I have but it’s definitely more than the standard issue from Woodford. It’s a really cool tour too they do all these tours very well at every one we went too lots of shopping for the lady’s in these huge gift shops . Oak&eden with the oak spiral in it is a good pour too . Talk her into a trip about 3 or 4 days is a great time .and yes indeed if in my area give me a shout .

Anyone like George Dickel? I got a bottle of that and mix that with Makers and Gentleman Jack. I'm not quite as high dollar as you guys :)

Well, I will be removing my ELAC B6.2's and center channel, this Friday. To neutral for me, the past 2 years, and replacing the mains with Klipsch RP-500M II. I am reusing their R-51M for SS and the center channel, RP-400C, from the inventory .

Klipsch RP-500M II are to arrive this Friday, from Crutchfield.

Not sure if I posted this or not. New apartment and the setup. I didn't like the sound of the TV via optical so put the soudbar into duty for regular TV. It is a decent deftech with a wireless sub.

Starting to buy things I'll need for the upcoming track season. New brake pads are on their way Project Mu Club Racers. Rotors up next, then trans and diff fluids.

Brake fluid? :D I am running a new one called Torque now and pedal feel is amazing. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to drive it the last month or so.

Dropped the STI off at the shop yesterday. I had replaced the PS pump, but it seems the rack also had an issue, which likely caused the problem with the pump. It progressively got worse, so new rack :( My friend had me buy it in Dec. because the price went up as of Jan 1, but couldn't get me in until this week. The first expense of the year is not so good.

Got the full size one for my son in law and I liked it. The full size is quite heavy, as the blade is incredibly thick and a bit unwieldy to carry, so I ordered a compact for myself. It is thinner and much lighter and fits in the pocket quite easily. Even on the compact, I see some areas they could shrink the handle a bit and bring the weight down even more.

Sony DVPSR210P cheap for a backup DVD player. I currently have 2 DVD players, and I'll store this one for replacement if one of them fails. Hey it was cheap enough. :)

Looks like I am also buying a new power steering reservoir. They said the reservoir was very clogged and was seeping; possibly sucking in air. When they did the pump last year they could not find the leak, but today they found a small leak in the input shaft, which explains why there was never any leakage on the ground (it is always in my garage) and the reservoir looked full, but it behaved like it was out of fluid. >sigh< Another couple of hundred.
