I’ve had the same experience with Fed Ex. They used to be the best but they’re now the worst in my experience. I’ve wasted days waiting too. UPS has been much better. Not great but better.

I am having a similar issue with UPS They claim to not have been able to find my address or there is an issue with it. I logged in and checked it, there is no problem with it. So they flagged it to be returned to sender. This is my PS5 Pro that was guaranteed delivery on Nov. 7. I called and reamed someone, now they went looking for my package and said they can't find it. It is already 6 days late.

So yesterday, we drove about 1hr away and picked up the last one we could find in local stores. The salesguy said it was his last day and gave me $25 off because I am a GameStop member, which was nice of him.

The one I am waiting to have delivered will be donated as a raffle price for our local food bank, sponsored by our company.

*Update from UPS, they mailed it back... WTF

That is messed up. My actual UPS driver is great and really goes out of his way for us. I did get an apology email from FedEx that they are sorry it will be a day late. It says all the boxes are on the truck and out for delivery.

Looking at the Sony site, it seems to be saying I have to place a new order. I need to call them now. Dumb a$$ UPS driver caused this, saying "I had moved". UPS delivered a package to me on Wed. then claimed I had moved on Thurs?

I bought a pair of used 26" high metal speaker stands for my son inlaw to replace the previous stands that I bought for him. The vinyl on the old stands is cracking and coming off in chunks as can be seen on the base of these stands

This what I picked up for him for a scant $50.

I passed by Value Village on my back from picking up the stands and I walked out with this. Each Beethoven has 4 albums and cost me $7.99 and they are very pristine.

I feel you there and all the good thoughts going out to you and yours. My mom had heart surgery 2 years ago and she is having issues again. They are doing a bunch of tests in preparation for another possible surgery.

One of our friends who was in remission from brain cancer just told us last week that it came back. Rough start to the season it seems. They gave him like 3 months though, and he actually came back to work for almost a year (his choice, he didn't want it to hold him back).

So sorry to hear that! Our family is struggling with something similar. My 41 year old niece who has been living with her mom (my younger sister) in Victoria TX were one day away from getting on a plane to move back east when she suffered a major stroke with brain bleed. They're both still there, it happened about 6 weeks ago. She's in a rehab hospital but with both her and her mom living in abject poverty there she had no insurance so they want her out by November 30th and she still has a piece of her skull out to relieve swelling from a similar infection.

Welcome to the fine health care system in America, where you get all the help you can afford.

Whenever you have time again, do report back on the speakers though family absolutely, positively is WAY more important!

My KEF Reference 1 Meta speakers were shipped out to Gig Harbor WA just this afternoon, and I drove up to Audio Video Therapy of Nashua NH to give them as deposit on a pair of these Blade 2 Meta speakers that were ordered for me yesterday. When I was there today, John Rein checked and said they shipped today and he should have them sometime next week. I'm getting excited! As good as those "bookshelf" (stand mount, really) speakers are, these things ought to be a whole new ball game.

That is tragic. My parents are fortunate to be fully insured. I hope there is some way to keep her on the hospital.
