I went a little crazy at the Pawn Shop last night, they had a 30% off "Moonlight Madness" sale (doors open @ 8PM, closes @ Midnight).

Sooo ...

I bought a ceramic heater, 120V 1500W. For $C 11.00 [$US 8.35] Not very exciting but handy.

Slightly more exciting ... an AKG C1000S (latest revision) small-diaphram condenser microphone. $C 48.00 [$US 36.50]

And not audio-related, but I'm pretty pumped about it because I have some work to do on my Miata, a TIG / Stick welder with Plasma cutter. 120V 20A or 240V 30A $230.00 [$US 175.00]

Bought a hardly used Archeer AH07. They will be my backup pair. I use my pair everyday and I love the way they sound for dialogue mostly for my TV/Youtube watching. They really shine with the pads I bought for them. Stock pad makes the bass too boomy.

Was going to buy a TV but in my room size and since I'm not ready to jump into 4k right now with the prices I bought a projector a good 1080p optoma and a 120inch projection screen. Can't wait to set them up this week!

i recently picked up a 75" LG SK8070PUA 4K tv and then i realized that i needed a receiver capable of Atmos. so i got a Yamaha RX-A3070 receiver.

Ordered these NEW Funcl W1 5.0 Bluetooth wireless earpieces. They seem to get good reviews on the SQ and only $19 bucks for these at the moment.

You and me both. I have acquired a decent start of a collection of JBL stuff. I have come close to buying some of the more vintage gear, some of which was/is reasonably priced, even if I have to refurb cabinets and working parts.
