Started up a new game of Master of Orion 2. One of the all-time best space colonize and conquer games ever IMHO. Released in the mid 90s and still works on Win 11. I wish my Tiger Woods golf sims worked on Win 11.

Thankfully Madden 2008 still works on my desktop with Win 10. My laptop has win 11. But today I'm playing Fate. It works on both Win 10 and 11.

The past few weeks, I have been playing Aliens: Elite Fireteam.
Pretty simple game premise, based on a franchise I like, and the sound effects seem spot on to me (the pulse rifle, smart gun, sentry gun).
The different loadouts and perks make it quite a fun game to run with a friend or 2.

The original Ni No Kuni on PS3. Great artwork by Studio Ghibli and a very fun story. Battle mechanics are interesting too.

I have been playing the previous one to that, and it is so good. Not yet completed it. I had to take a break, so it's a little tough getting back in the swing of things...especially as my last save is right before a Valkyrie fight!

It was good; better than the first one IMO. Started Valhalla and got tired of the repetition and stopped playing that.

Alan wake 2, The game is beautiful, even magnificent, but the scenario is astounding, the various clues found are of no use and the back and forth forced by the game between reality and the table of clues breaks the rhythm and the immersion.

I like it so far, it is a bit overwhelming at first and you can hit walls due to gear/skill. Only in Act 2 with a Monk but have one of each class started. Right now I am struggling to beat the Act 1 boss on my warrior.

Playing mostly older games that I have finished. Some had added content, some just updates. Just finished Last of Us Part II Remastered for PS5 Pro. Not a lot new that is interesting since nothing really huge came out this holiday season; mostly add-ons and updates.

Just finished Dragon Age: Veilguard (skipped a lot of the dialogue) I enjoyed it. (PC w/RTX 4090) so eye candy!

Just started Indiana Jones and the Golden Circle (ON Xbox XSX) visual showcase and fun game so far. Almost on a high end PC level.

Last of Us Part II Remastered - No Return. No Return is a roguelike that unlocks once you beat the main story in the game. You play a set of levels until you get to and beat the boss or die. When you die, your run is over. With the release of TLOU2 for PC last week, new levels and characters were released on PC and PS5.

I hadn't played it in a while, but revisited it because of the free update. They didn't mention it, but the graphics are actually noticeably improved on the PS5 Pro.
