Just started watching the Lord of the Rings - Fellowship of the Ring last night. Oh!!! My!!! With a good sub, the ring practically becomes a full character. The room just pulses whenever it's on the screen, and the THUDs when it gets dropped or hits something are extremely potent. I can see why these movies always show up on the lists of movies that show off your subwoofer.

Anyway, good luck waiting through the final day. I look forward to hearing your experiences and impressions.

Yes today is SW day but more than likely I'll have to go pick it up this evening after work because I wont be home to accept it. But IT WONT BE LONG NOW Hopefully I'll have time to post some pics tonight but most likely it'll be wednesday. Yes I am excited

Oh no... I just saw a splintered and broken big black box on the side of the highway. A UPS man was kneeled beside it rubbing his frowning brow. I fear it is Factor's sub that fell off the truck.

Trust me it took every ounce of will power I had to go to work today I so wanted to be home to greet my new sub but there firing guys left and right at my work for nothing and or no good reasons and there starting from the top down ...who figures... I guess because we get payed more. I've been there close to 11 or 12 years and I feel more threatened then someone just hired. Anyway back to the sub, yes UPS left there little sticker on my door but I can go pick it up in a hour or so and hopefully post some pics tonight

Not So Good Update : (

Well I called UPS AT 5PM to make arrangements to pick up the sub and they said someone would call me back to tell me what time I could pick it up tonight so at about a little after 6pm I get a call and they tell me the package is not on the truck and not sure were it might be and that it possibly was locked up somewhere but not sure were and that I would have to pick it up tomorrow night so I explained I made arrangements to pick it up tonight and it shouldnt be hard to find that big of a package weighing in at almost 100 pounds so her response was well I dont know were it is wright now so you'll have to pick it up tomorrow. As calmly as I could be I asked to speak to her supervisor or manager and she responded I am the manager and she would try to find it and call me back. Well needless to say I could tell from the tone of her voice I wouldnt be getting a return call and I was wright because 50 minutes later still no call back and the cut off time to be able to pick it up if they could find it was approaching quickly so I called the 800# told them the situation and then they passed me off to a tracking department . Well after 20 or 30 minutes on the phone with them and asking to talk to a manager and trying to make arrrangements to pick it up tomorrow after work and to make sure they didnt send it out again. So as it stands no sub and still waiting for a manager to return my call . Oh and the reason finally came out was the driver got in early so everything was loaded and locked in some ben for his route in the morning. So in essence I had no chance of picking it up tonight ok I better catch my breath now lol actually im pretty ticked off and Did I mention how much I dislike U P S. There customer service sucks and I have never received a delivery from them to were the package didnt look like it fell off 1000ft cliff . When ever I order something and I find out UPS is delivering it I Just cringe. So I guess this just another friendly reminder and I will never buy/order anything again from a company that only uses UPS to were I dont have a option for another courier. I dont know if SVS only Uses UPS but if they do unfortunately I will never do business again there if they were giving there subs away. OK IM DONE NOW thanks for letting me vent and I think I'll go put together my new component rack that FEDEX just delivered that may I add looks like it was handled with care and just rolled off the assembly line, Thanks again for listening to my rage

No sub? No pics tonight?!? It's time to get drunk - and I mean sloppy. I'm so depressed. I wanted to see that bad boy. Oh, wait...I can go to the SVS website. Ahhhh. I'm more calm now. Whew.

Seriously, man, that sucks for you. I only called UPS customer service once, and I'm never going to do it again. It's a black hole of your time, as you found out. I've had pretty decent luck with them in terms of general deliveries. Yes, both SVS boxes had large holes punched in them. Yes, I've gotten other packages that looked like they were catapulted to my door from a block away. For the most part, though, things show up alright. Now that you have Amazon, babeee, you'll see. Oh, wait - I guess that you need to cancel that, because they use UPS a lot.
