Sorry for the additional post, but I didn't get the right image address before you read the last one. Here's a picture of the amp (although I'm sure that you've seen it a million times!):

To disable the crossover on the sub, you could just flip the switch on the back for the crossover to the "DISABLED" setting.

Wait?!? Never!!! I'd be just as excited, man, and doing the same thing.

BTW, you can download the manual from the SVS page on that sub. Here is a direct link to save you some searching.

Look above the dial for the crossover. You should be able to make out a switch, one side is labeled "DISABLED" and the other side is "ENABLED".

EDIT: Never mind. I see your post now. :D

Dude, I saw your car in the other thread. I think that you can afford 80 extra dollars to get a fresh-and-pure SVS! :) It'll be worth it. Do you really think that SVS subs are bought and returned by grandmothers who only play them quietly on Sundays before church? :D

Thanks again for the link I just read it and I noticed it said you should use a sound pressure leveler (SPL) to dial everything in for speaker levels . Would that be like using my AVR Mic setup on my Elite except using a SPL would be more accurate. Just curious

SPL meters are nice, but my Pioneer 1015 pretty much nailed the level settings for my speakers and sub. I used an SPL meter and test tone CD to check out the response over frequency in my room. My sub has more tweaks to it than yours will, so my process made more sense in my situation than in yours. You could do it for the phase setting or to fine tune location of the sub, but for just getting the output level correct - I think that your Elite will work just fine. You can always set the level according to your own tastes, too!
