Wall mount tips please.

I already have these so it's too late to talk me out of them. They replaced an Infinity Primus theater in a box.

I have them temporarily wall mounted. A clip screws to the wall and the speaker slides onto the clip. The clip is in the center of the speaker and the bottom of the speaker rests on the wall making it a 2 point contact. Simple enough.

I'm looking for ideas on how to isolate that clip and speaker bottom from the wall. Cutting into the wall is no problem. I just don't want to tear it down from the floor to the ceiling. The object of this is to keep the sound from travelling to my neighbors above and below via the wall.

I am not expecting to ever be able to crank it up and not be heard. I am looking to reduce amount of sound going from the speaker directly into the wall. Thanks.

I would like to see suggestions for future upgrades also. Pick these apart at will. My feelings won't be hurt. These are probably worth $75 a piece. Thanks again.

You may be able to fasten a nice, stained hardwood plate to the stud, hopefully on it now. Then, you can perhaps glue something like bluetack on the back of the speakers, so that contacts the hardwood plate. May even use it on the back of that plate too against the sheetrock?

Currently I'm using (3) 1-1/2" #10 coarse thread screws to fasten the clip right to the drywall. Sounds shoddy but it isn't. People call them laminating screws for drywall. I got a bagfull of tricks like that.

What is bluetack? I even googled it. Strange result. I was hoping there was a product out there for this type of thing. I hadn't thought about wood. I do have some African Mahogany and Tiger Maple.

I just saw some Martin Logan in wall speakers that were stunning but at $750 a pop? Well I guess thats why it's called a future upgrade. Really nice to look at though.

Rubber/silicone isolation feet stuck to the back might work. I use something like these (but flat):

What is bluetack? .

Maybe I have the name wrong. Many have mentioned some kind of material placed on speaker stand then placing the speakers on top for isolation and perhaps it also has some glue capability with it?
