I stopped in on my bike to get a status report. Tranny is coming out right now. The reason the document disappeared was because I talked to them only seconds before on the phone and they were in the middle of updating it, removing that cc fee. So crap, some of you guys automatically go to the WORST scenario!!! Oh geez, the world is ending!

That is good news and you are getting prompt service and so that offsets some of your expense. I would consider how long you keep that vehicle. Dodge are Stilantis which is or was FIAT. As Click and Clack used to say, that stands for "Fix It Again Tony!"

Glad it's working out for you. Can't imagine a service contract being useful for a vast majority of products, just a way to increase revenue then look for excuses to not pay....shitty insurance at its best.

After 2.5 weeks since the transmission broke, I got the car back this afternoon. They rebuilt my transmission, which is the same as buying a reman. The final charge was $500 less than what I agreed to. So that was super nice. There is an item on the bill that is $400 for module programming. But that was obviously included in the 6 grand plus tax I was told from the get-go. I ended up paying slightly under 6 grand after tax! So if you can buy a reman and pay for labor and programming, dollars to doughnuts, I got the best deal in town and they are only 3 miles south of me. I had no clue it would take this long, but that's fine. I used a loaner vehicle for work for 6 of those days.
