I saw it at a THX theatre and the bass in the first 5 minutes during the attack was insane.
With TWO discs, surely they can fit just the movie by itself on one disc with TrueHD 7.1 and then put the extras on the 2nd disc! This IS a two disc special edition in HD![]()
Exactly... so you should sell it to me for $50![]()
So, maybe you should sell me your HD DVD player, I don't have one yet.
By this Christmas those $230 HD DVD players will probably be $130. Then you guys can stock up. And you guys will probably get 10 free HD DVDs. It's like getting a free HD DVD player!Yep, but I have a nice LCD in the bedroom that would love to meet that XA1![]()
I think the bass will leave a HUGE smile on everyone's face!I'll be checking it out tommorrow on regular DVD, I can't wait!!! I heard it has some awesome bass.
Yes, of course. Us suckers will go for three releasesWith TWO discs, surely they can fit just the movie by itself on one disc with TrueHD 7.1 and then put the extras on the 2nd disc!
I can see it now already. It's a trick! First they come out with DD Plus 5.1. Then they will come out with TrueHD 5.1. Then they will release the Ultimate Edition with 7.1 TrueHD!
What are you talking about? How would you compare audio among different movies???????Well, I just got my copy of the Transformers HDDVD at Best Buy for $27.99 (price match from Target.com).
The sound was excellent. The bass was great. But I still think Blu-ray sounds better than HDDVD.
I think Underworld PCM, Underworld Evolution PCM, & 300 PCM/TrueHD sound better than Transformers DD-Plus.
They all sound great, though.
That is not what he said at all, he said Blu-Ray sound is better (period). All he is saying is that the audio on those movies is very good and I agree completely.
Garcia, I am curious, since you say you agree that BD sound quality is better, do you even have HD DVD player? But I still think Blu-ray sounds better than HDDVD.
I knew someone was going to ask that. What are you talking about? How would you compare audio among different movies???????
Yeah, so far that is my impression. I have about 30 HDDVD movies vs 40 BD movies. Although I can't truly fairly compare them, I just get the impression that all the BD movies sound BETTER then the HDDVD movies SOMEHOW!That is not what he said at all, he said Blu-Ray sound is better (period).

Damn, Gasman.Oh no worries from me Acuguy, I was just showing Garcia what you said exactly (before it got twisted).
Personally, I would have to disagree, and yes I have some of the same movies on both formats (although, I don't bother with a useless DBT).
