Just wondering if the traid ts-subamp 700 and 1200 if anyone has tried 2 ohms? Reviews say its a icemodule inside.

How often have you needed to produce full power for more than a minute? That doesn't mean the volume control is turned up- music is dynamic, not continuous signal.

What do you base your opinion on?

The spec shows 3 Ohms minimum. Why could you operate outside of the specs? That's bad system design.

Rockford fosgate would rate their amps to 2 ohm but could run all day at 1 ohm. Many brands do not rate to max. Would whyni think home audio brands would be different when they over charge for gear all the time Or lie about the quality of parts they use.

You mean Triad? Pretty well regarded for their speakers. Never saw comments about their branded electronics. I don't see pricing for their sub amps so hard to determine value but I imagine they work fine, altho for a sub amp I would prefer to see ratings for 2 ohm, but I just see a 4 ohm rating and a 3 ohm minimum impedance spec so might limit subs/wiring....what subs do you need the amps for?
