Would have liked to see the Dahlquist DQ10 on this list instead of the Bose AcoustiCrap. (the 901's can stay)

Thanks for your comments to revitalize an old thread. A great article I didn’t know existed having joined in just the past year. Oh boy now I’ll be going down the rabbit hole researching the archives.

I take that list with a grain of salt. Not one mention of a 'electrostatic' ?? No Quad or Martin Logan, Total BS to NOT say they weren't 'influential' !

Of the speakers on this list, I've only owned the (new) large and small Advents. Long gone. I did hear some large Magis at a friend's house around 1980 being run by a pretty stout Amp with close to SOTA sources at that time and they sounded fantastic. Beat the hell out of my mid fy Advent setup.
