The Worst Beer List

Yeah, sad thing is that a few of the beers in that sampler are really superb but not otherwise available in SD. Stock Ale is generally unavailable here and is in my top 10 beers. I like the Scotch Ale, too. But the Honey Lager, Summerfest & Lambic are only fit to unclog drains.

Note to Sam Adams- grains of paradise, honey and fruit do not belong in beer.

Yeah but because of the cranberry I will not buy that. Did you ever try the root beer ale? It was in a 4 pack with other stuff in it!! Very good. I cant think of the other 4. Did you also know there is a sam adams that's like $100.00!! It's like 25% alcohol!! http://www.samueladams.com/ Go into beer styles and click on extreme beers. Summerfest I did not like either Winter isn't that good either. The Hefeweizen & Octoberfest are awesome!! The Doublebock is pretty good as well that's 8%. I tried most of these by me at a store called Total Wine!! Man that store is kick ***!! Theres a place where you can make your own 6 pack. I got mostly higher alcohol than 5% and the 6 pack came to about $15.00!! I was like man but it was worth it!!

The Sam Adams that is extremely expensive and has a 25% alcohol content is the beer with the highest alcohol content in exsistence. From what I have heard it is also pretty gross. Its not something you are supposed to drink like a beer also, you put it into a snifter and drink it by the ounce.

They had a triple bock that was 17.5%. I had two bottles of it long ago. It was horrid no matter how you drank it. I don't know if they still make it.

I had an austrian beer once that had 14% alcohol by volume and you could smell the malt in that one. I wonder what that sam adams smells like. Plus for $100 I dont really know if I would want to try one anyways. Maybe if it was a gift he he he!! I dont think any of my family members would spend that much on a beer anyways. If you drank 1 whole one of those it would be like having 6 shots of liquor no thanks!!

Mmmm, tasty! I bet those cans of brew that they found in the van that had been sitting outside in the south pacific for several years went down smooth.

I hear that Dharma also makes a magnificent stout as well!!

I will only have Sam Adams if a bar has it on draft. I dont like it in the bottle. It doesn't taste the same as draft. So since there are not too many around me I usually get that when I go to a bar that has it.

Sam's is ok if it is real fresh. I think their boston ale is their best by far though . Their others are hit and miss, and a few are a real miss.

Two that I drink all the time here in NH are Harpoon IPA and Smutty Nose.

I have a friend that loves that stuff (at least he used to). He seemed more into beer than me, so I figured that it must be good, so I got some. I agree with you. YUCK!!! But, I was younger and poorer back then, so I still drank it all.

OMG you are so not a beer lover. Sam Smiths is one of the premier breweries. You deserve to be flogged to within an inch of your life for pouring that out. May the beer gods have pitty on your soul.

Sorry, I'm trying to learn to like beer but some of the stuff is really gross. I’ll have you over the next beer sampling I do this way if I don’t like it you can finish it for me.
