Hehehe
Personally speaking if your going to state that "I'm on crack" for loving the paradigms, I'd have to say you're on meth. They're beautiful speakers, both physically and sonically. If you had an entire signature set up right to the ballcock, setup with nothing but bryston and oracle, or even krell, what the hell do you thinks gonna beat that! Paradigm is commited to quality, just because the S8's are a mere 6k compared to some speakers you can buy, doesn't mean they can be compared as such. Anything canadian made I see anywhere that has dedication behind it is usually some of the most beautiful you'll see, both in physical features and to their purpose. I'd have to say if you're going to beat them, you'll have to go with the Klipsch vintage Khorn or LaScala, and they don't sound anywhere near as accurate even though they are AMAZING! or the obvious and go with Infinity Reference Standards from back in the day. Just to finish things off I'm going to state the simple fact that every audiophile should be aware of (unless you're just an ignorant %^&*@) In a worldwide audio competition, the Studio 100v.2 were runners up to a pair of speakers worth $150,000 now if you think that the signature aren't worth much, I think you need your brain checked, and even though I stated that they could be beat by the Infinities, I'd have to say I'll never buy anything other than paradigm, because why not?
