I have owned Marantz pre pro's in the past and would love another. Give me an excuse to buy another amp.

I prefer processor/amp combo as receivers have a hard time driving my speakers!

I was a long time receiver only user, until I ran out of space on my SR7012. I started off by adding 3 outlaw 2200's to run my SVS Ultra Towers and center, and have loved the idea of seperates ever since. I very much like the fact that if anything ever goes wrong, I can simply swap out one amp, instead of the entire receiver. I also notice much less heat dissipating from the receiver, which is also a great benefit. Having a dedicated pre amp would be amazing.

I am in the process of building a dedicated home theater space in my basement (on a budget) and my Marantz SR7001 that I bought myself for my birthday in 2007 is just NOT going to cut it.

I have had a traditional Denon AV Receiver - AVR-8310ci. It doesn't support 4K and the latest HDMI standards and Dolby ATMOS. I would love to go separates as I have an 11.2 setup today and know the sound would benefit from separate amplification.

I moved from having separates (Integra & Emotiva) to having Onkyo receiver and am missing the Oomph!.

I'm in the process of thinking about switching to all Marantz after getting an 7705 amp. I might go separates, but I'm not sure as that would be getting another amp. It's been a blessing having a home theater this year though.

I've always been a HUGE Marantz fan and it would be a dream come true to have a dedicated, high end Marantz A/V processor to add to my home theater system, which has mostly separate components. Thanks for this giveaway opportunity chance:)

Why do I want to go with separates ?

Well, it kinda looks great in a rack !

And, of course, it makes the setup a bit more futureproof.

Receivers are more practical for most, but a separate processor and power amp do benefit from not being boxed in together by allowing each to be dedicated to one primary function. More room internally for better components. Also, they look cool.

I have speakers and surrounds that aren't very efficient but are very solid when given enough juice. The Marantz would be part one of a two-part plan (the other part, of course, is the external amp itself) to supply dedicated power to the system where desired!

Right now I am using a receiver but I think going into separates is the way to go
