WOW that is a beautiful sub and like I your Paradigms lurking in the corner getting some photo time are they 60's or 100's. I've got the 60's in black ash and love them , what a great all around speaker the best i've ever owned . But back to your sub that is beautiful!!!

I have to send out my boston sub tomorrow and I dont have the original box. I am planning to go to fed ex kinkos as i have a bunch of styrofoam and padding that i will use but dont have the box. you think they will have a box and bubble wrap that will fit it? any recomendations for the shipping?

Any shipping place should have boxes big enough and bubble wrap or peanuts...but they will charge you extra for packing.

So since we just had a baby 6 weeks ago and building a house that will be ready in september I didnt want to bump into the funds to buy an svs. So what did I do? I sold my guitar amp for $400 and sold my Boston pv 1000 for $400. I just got off the phone with the buyer of my boston sub and at first he wasnt going to buy it because he was afraid because he was not local and buying it off me on craigslist because of scams. after talking with him on the phone for awhile and seeing i am normal i told him he can pay half and when he recieves it pay the other half and presto it is sold (although i have to trust he pays the other half).
as soon as I get the next payment from him i am pulling the trigger on the svs.

$400 from guitar amp
$400 from boston sub
$300 of my commision check
=$1100 SVS PB12 plus/2 within the next week!!!! (plus) 100$ for shipping.

the only problem is i will be moving in sept and will have to move the SUB!!!!

Congrats on the new baby. Was this your first? Cherish it because they grow up so fast. I also wanted to congratulate you on your new sub purchase. As many has already said, you are in for a big "WOW" factor both for it's size as well as it's performance. Taking it to the next level would be a gross under-statement. Better buckle everything down as you are in for an awesome experience.

Its a really old Cannon, I really liked it when I got it, but I need to upgrade and get something new...

Its nice to be able to try out different subs.... Comparison between the different styles (sealed vs ported) has been great... It has given me the ability to discern how different build quality stacks up against one another...

Getting the F112 really made me appreciate a top of the line build quality product... Next up will be the Dual 15" DIY ported build with amazing drivers, from TC-Sounds/Audiopulse... the company that made drivers for SVS back when..

Shown are 2 - TC-Sounds 15" TC-2000's
These are some of the best drivers available before the company went under... very well respected, and a dam shame they are gone.

This is pretty close to what I will be shooting for... X 2
