Not quite, but the problem is the budget. Both the PB and PC will perform the same, and either will easily outperform the b and w on movies, and music. Despite that, if the room is on concrete, you won’t get much couch shaking, although you might get some midbass punch from maybe 35-100hz.
The Nsd series was a really good budget line, but there was and are better choices.
So, while either will be an upgrade, and yes you’ll definitely notice a difference(don’t know if blown away is the right description since I don’t really know your expectations and experience level).
What would be better choices

Please explain sorry
Not speaking for HD but just adding my opinion…
Usually the “chest punch” is a function of spl, or just plain LOUD lol. The frequency range is often debated on where it is. Imo, it’s somewhere between 30 and 100hz. Think of a kick drum. They’re largely tuned to around 50hz. With enough volume, a good kick drum stomp will definitely “punch”.

What is everyone's thoughts on jl audio
Good car audio drivers, but overpriced complete HT subs. They do look very nice! Lots of people like them, but on paper, there are better options.

The mk I'm looking at is the old one made in usa
Looks like it’s about 20 years old. Here’s one in a review in S&V!

And a minidsp is a device used to EQ your subs. Every room influences subwoofers frequency response and a minidsp can help smooth FR out, especially if you can’t place them optimally. It’s also useful for time alignment, and you can set custom high and low pass filters as well. It’s used with REW, also known as room eq wizard freeware program.

I think the M&K seems very good, but as an SVS owner myself, I would probably choose them. However the HSU in the link I added would likely be better yet, but I’m going off of memory from data-bass, where there’s a collection of subwoofer data.
If you have more money, Rythmik, HSU, monolith, and PSA all make very kick ass subwoofers. But you have to pay to play, so…

So just to clarify. Are you looking at one pc12nsd and on pb12 nsd VS one M&K?
That’s easy. Get the SVS’s. If it’s one SVS vs one M&K, then it’s probably a horse a piece.

So at first I was dead set on the mk then looked at the pb12nsd but then you guys are telling me about two subs just don't know how it would be astetically being two different subs so being honest and not bias lol if I'm only going with one sub is the mk the better choice or no
