It seems there is a power outlet at each potential speaker location. What was not going to be acceptable to them was a wire connecting the speakers to each other. The KEF fit the bill if one is not concerned with the 24/48 limit of the wireless connection between speakers as 24/192 would require the inter-speaker cable.
