I have to take an online Hipaa course. So I put on some tunes at my computer. These Infinity RS-2000's sound quite fabulous! Also an 8" Yamaha sub at my feet. Playing The 77's "Ping Pong Over the Abyss".

Yes, they are upside down. Tweeters are at the top of my head level, whilst sitting at the computer.
15 courses I am taking on various transport/HIPAA topics. Sheesh!

Years ago I got my property/casualty license and had to sit through about 30 hours of online lecture. I totally DID NOT download software that would randomly move the mouse to simulate someone sitting at the computer.

I have been an independent contractor since 1988. The company I drive for started out with two brothers I think around 1990. They sold to Greyhound sometime around early 2000's. I once took a free Greyhound ride to Milwaukee where I bought a motorcycle and rode it home. I joined on in 2001 after being with another outfit based out of the Midway area of St. Paul. The company's largest contract is with Fairview Specialty Pharmacy. My route, which I have had since 2008 (of all the route guys, I have had my route the longest by a mile. No one is even close. They lose guys because you cannot make mistakes, if you do, you are likely to lose your route and it might cost you multiple thousands of dollars if you deliver an expensive drug to the wrong address) is about 90% Fairview "next day" jobs. Plus I do a medical supply company. I deliver to patient's homes. Around 55 a day give or take 10 or so. I really like route work. I did "on demand" work for years and I hated it so much, but it was a job. I only pick up in the morning and then start my route. No pick-ups and drops all day like on demand. I call that "the mystery".
So I had to do this course, or multiple courses because they sold the company now to a national outfit and changed the name. The new company wants to get all their ducks in a row I think by August 1st. Some of the topics that were assigned to me do not apply, but I had to do them all to completion. Like "delivering live animals" for example. Ha.

I had a Medicaid transportation company for awhile but had to shut down due to bureaucracy. Hopefully I can start back up next year and structure it a little different to avoid it in the future. Nothing like working for yourself, making good money and helping people in need all rolled into one.
