Anyone know were to get good speaker slip covers. Something I can use to slip over the speakers when not in use to protect them. Bookshelf speakers to be exact. I have searched and I see portable PA type covers. Or covers for shipping. I want to slip cover my KEF's and others. Thanks

Just curious what you’re protecting the speakers from?

This is one of those items there is no market for. Your best bet is to find a seamstress to make them for you.

Do these need to protect from anything specific? Bullets, small stones, splashing, tiny fingers...?

I want to slip them on to protect from our cats when not in use. Right now I take the speakers off the stands and put something on top of them. Once I add the Blue Tack to them this won't be an option. A speaker cover will protect them on the stands.

I had a feeling cats were involved... The thing with cats is to make whatever they are going for less appealing. Putting covers over the speakers may make them more enticing. It will look like something new to investigate.

A dedicated music room? Maybe keep the door the shut?
Or, one of these;

It worked for me. My cat lost interest in my sub after a few sprays over a couple of days. Don't use it near the litter box.

Seriously, I have no life.
When I was doing on location recording, I used to protect my monitors in transit with draw string bags.

The grill should be on, unlike in this photo. The you pull the bag down over the top of the speakers and pull the cord tight round the stand.

Those speakers are now my side surrounds.

That draw string bag solution was an excellent solution.

That spray has worked for me too. The biggest thing IME is giving the cat something more interesting than what you’re protecting.

I think the covers should be delicately designed to coordinate with the doilies.
If you don't know what a doily is, I'm proud of you. Its not in the man dictionary.
Hahaha...doilies!
Truth is Buck, my Swedish Gramma’s house had them all over. Doilies for the doilies I think. Do I get to keep my man card if I don’t actually use any?

I was trying to think of the last time I saw a doily....think it was at my grandma's house, too.

My gramma had them everywhere. That's where I learned about them.
Men may know about many things. Its just impolite to bring them up unnecessarily.
Like mauve. You should never bring up mauve. :)
