Why is it so slow around here this week? What do you guys expect me to do when I am at work?????
I'm with you... 5pm seems further away every day this weekWhy is it so slow around here this week? What do you guys expect me to do when I am at work?????![]()
Greg, just start a new member profile, post that you're parents are about to spend $2000 on a Bose system, and ask if it's really worth the money. Also add that you fully plan on swapping out the cables with Monster brand and that you'll be wrapping the electronics with ERS paper. Why is it so slow around here this week? I'm with you Greg. I have actaully had to work out of boredom to pass the time.
Adam. Might take you up on that idea![]()
Maybe is Greg would stop giving "Bogus" information around here people would post more.
j/k LOL![]()
So true, but with a raise you would have more money and then you would be able to buy more stuff and feed the upgrade demon......I am not going to start working; as I have said in the past, if I do that then I will feel under paid and then I have to prep to ask for a raise and all the sudden I am working more to justify my need for a raise.
I agree with you 100%. I only visit here when I am at work. (I have better things to do on my own time! Why is it so slow around here this week? What do you guys expect me to do when I am at work?????![]()
Well, not audio related...but you all are trying not to work, right?
I was walking my pooch Niki at the state park by our house last night and came within a couple of feet of a rattle snake. Not the first time, but it's fresh in my mind. This was the first one at the park that actually rattled at us. A couple of months ago, Niki was sniffing a tree trunk, and I looked down to see that she was standing over the top of a rattler that was all coiled up. It was a cool customer though and didn't even move. Got lucky on that one.
A couple of weeks ago we were in another "wilderness" area and were surrounded by tall bushes when we found ourselves in the middle of a pack of javelina (about 50 pounds, look like wild pigs but are actually giant rodents). They normally will just leave us alone or run off, but one of them challenged us. He even circled around us through the bushes to do it again. I'll have to upload a picture of skull for you all. Their teeth are huge and sharp. Niki couldn't care less. She was all "why aren't we still walking." I was the one that got nervous. Yeah, we could have taken the javelina, but I have no desire to hurt them. Eventually got past the guy, though.
Anyway, a little light reading for your work day.
Adam
Hey neighbor! I'm just up I-85 from you in Salisbury. And yes, Delhomme, Smith & Co. looked pretty sharp last Sunday against St. Louis. The Panthers were the main reason I got into this insane AV hobby to begin with, when they went to the SB in 2004. I had to watch the game on a big screen HD, and then needed surround speakers to go along with it...you know the story. Anyway, nice to know you're close by!I too was wondering the same thing... maybe we need another electric razor thread, or something else of equal manliness. How about those Carolina Panthers, lookin good so far!
This is my "go to" site whenever things get slow at work. The last thing I feel like doing when I go home is getting back on a computer!I agree with you 100%. I only visit here when I am at work. (I have better things to do on my own time!)
So now that we have the numbers, are we going to take over or what?Good to see some fellow Carolinians here.
Yes. it is destined to be.I hope my credenza gets here today; will it?
