Should I go with ATI Class D or Cherry MEGAschino?

Excuuuuseee me. Yes, you NEED 900WPC.
Well, I can definitely see those SV1212NR subs needing the 900WPC into 4 ohms. :D

But the SV831R's should be happy with 300WPC into 4 ohms. :D

Hahahaha! Emotiva going to beef up that processor line. 48 CH would be nutz coming from them.

I would like most high end processors to have options. 16 is the new standard. I want 24 and 32 options. If I'm going to spend the money, I want at least the 24 ch option. Gives me room to upgrade my build over time.

Warranty is obviously a huge plus. I think most top tier companies who are selling high end processors should have nothing less than 7-8 years. If they believe in their products they need to put up.
Yeah, I see your point. :D

If you're spending at least $4K, then sure, 16CH should be standard. And for other people who want to spend more money, 24 and 32 CH are good.

And yeah, for people spending $20K MSRP, I think 10YR is the minimum warranty. For $30K, 15YR warranty should be minimum. :D

I was looking at my Yamaha CX-A5100 last night, thinking, "Man, I am just peachy with my 5.2.4 system in my 26'x22'x14' room. I can't believe these guys are wanting 16-32CH AVPs so they can spend a fortune on a bunch of speakers everywhere in their rooms after already dropping $20-30K on just the AVP!" :D

Of course, I'm also peachy with my $3,700 Laser PJ, while guys are wanting $25K, $60K, and $100K PJ.

I guess some people must have rooms that are like 40'x30'x15' or something. :D

those people dropping $60-$100k on a 4k projector are crazy. ROI on those are terrible. Cause you know within the next 10 years Sony and JVC will be taking on 8k. People spending between $4-$12k are way better off in that time period.

Your room and setups are pretty kick ass though. For 99% of people that would be their dream setup. Then you find the 1% that need more. :D

Nobody’s perfect. I am okay with 99%. :D
