Replacing Parents Subwoofer

Hi All,

Looking for some help on replacing my parents subwoofer. There current subwoofer has died, which isn’t to bad after 15ish years. The sub that I am looking to replace is a DCM TB1010.

My parents are not bass heads and do not need any thing fancy. Just looking for a solid “cheapest“ replacement. Looking for similar or better performance.

No app or special controls are needed. Finish can be standard black wood grain or something similar.

Size doesn’t matter either. The space it will go in can handle any size in the cheap (under 500 dollar range).

Currently looking at the RSL 10E. But am open to suggestion.

Cheers

The cheapest subs are the Daytons, e.g. the sub 1200 isn't too bad. The RSL subs are probably better, and about the best values out there, so you are on the right track. Unless they need a more capable sub than the 10E, get it with no regrets. The 10S is slightly better but may not be necessary for your parents needs.

the RSL or Tonewinner SW D1000 when it’s on sale. I picked a couple up when they were under $400.

Yeah, if they don’t care for bass, just get the cheapest nice looking sub.
