I watch a lot of movies, and I can feel the weakest component is the center in my setup. I use Yamaha RX-V675 receiver. Two questions: 1) Would I tell the difference between the center channels 2) If I am replacing the center, is there anything else would match to my S55 under 350-400 dollars, such as something from Ascend acoustics (CMT-340 ). I liked their CBM-170 as surrounds. Ascend Acoustics told me that CMT-340 would be a good match with S55. Any suggestions? Thank you. You guys are the best!

R Russdawg1 Full Audioholic Nov 21, 2018 402 0 28 Aug 31, 2019 #2 Try the S30, it’ll be an improvement over the Sony. If you are satisfied, stop there. If not, free returns Best Buy/$10 Crutchfield. Then you can move to other centers that aren’t as easy to return, IE Ascend CMT340. Last edited: Aug 31, 2019
