I just dug out about 50 milk thistle that were "gifted" us by ignorance and a fence.

Fortunately, I had one of these:

The literature for easter lined up, that latter one is pretty old, but principles should be unchanging ....

I have LDC 8th edition vol 2 on its way, arriving Monday I think.

Good book, a bit dense. I had to go through the remedial (Weems, Murphy) and intermediate (Alden) Design books before Dickason started making sense to me. ;)

The Alden book is a good one, though. very useful.

Heading to Kalispell MT tomorrow to train some new users at a company we acquired. Tiny airport, so no directly flights from anywhere around here; have to transfer to something small enough to land there lol.

Today it is 80 years since the end of World War II in Norway. My late father joined the navy as a teenager and served as a signaller with "The Shetland bus", their purpose to deliver weapons to the resistance in Norway and get people that had to flee out to safety. In the beginning with fishing boats, from 1943 with US produced high-speed rebuilt "submarine chasers"

My father was on that insane mission of sinking the huge German battleship Tirpitz with unmanned submarines rebuilt to remote controlled torpedoes. They were going with fishing boat from Shetland to the fjord near Trondheim and fired the torpedos in a nazi controlled country. Almost, they missed by 50 feet o_O

I have a plaquet hanging here on my wall, the navy cross given to my late father from King Haakon VII of Norway for his service to free Norway from the Nazis. We cannot take freedom for granted.

We are Norwegians and no-one is ever gonna take our country
