I am really way, way way shocked, stunned, by that Boeing 787 crash in India, I spent all evening looking at footage and comments and it seems like .... just a mystery what happened there.

Plane taking off normally it seems and 10 seconds after lliftoff, the plane dramatically, suddenly lose lift :(
And there was a mayday call: Mayday, Mayday, Mayday, loss of power

It is heartbreaking to watch :(:( :( :( :( :( :(

Unfortunately, that's not too surprising with Boeing. Most likely a defect or a maintenance incompetence.

Yeah, he's free climbed some crazy stuff. No way in hell I'd even think about doing that!

Is Air India Crash a software bug?: A significant software bug in the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, discovered in 2015, could cause a complete electrical shutdown, potentially leading to loss of control. This issue stems from a software counter within the generator control units (GCUs) that overflows after 248 days of continuous power, causing the GCUs to enter failsafe mode and cease power generation. o_O

Boeing and the FAA have addressed the issue with a maintenance directive to periodically power down the GCUs and are developing a permanent software fix. 10 years and seemingly still not yet a permanent fix to the issue.
