Oh no. What happened?I had better days than last Friday

What happened with I assume your car?I had better days than last Friday
![]()
Oh no. What happened?
I had a full breakdown last Tuesday, suddenly I felt steering was troubled..... servo stopped working, I got warnings on engine overheating, so I stopped to try to make it cool down, I had to try to rescue the day by somehow getting home, I got a red light on the battery not charging .... I had then a full stop, flat battery and engine not able to start again as battery was flat ..... This happened in the middle of the longest underwater tunnel we do have hereWhat happened with I assume your car?
There are never too many subwoofers in the roomIn about 30 minutes I gotta be on the road.
There's a subwoofer on my passenger seat that I gotta bring inside so my hand truck can go for the ride.
I started taking Chantix a few days ago. It takes the fun out of smoking tobacco and it's too early for weed ...
Adios
Speaking of beemers, which I'm generally not the biggest fan of, but recently I saw Haggery's YT video on 850CSi. That particular model didn't get the justice it deserved. That model delivered on mixing crazy good looks of 850i and having great performance. Observe the closing credits, the test run looks insane.I got the car back and I am completely dumbfounded .... insane
Everything is different, the steering is smooth as butter, The car now drives like a dream, the engine is so gentle until I want power and it comes exactly as requested, smooth or powerful, transmission is way smooth, but still some small "kicks" when doing high torque on low-revs, probably and hopefully disappearing when I re-flush the gearbox and change oil after around 6000 miles from now.
I am so happy the car broke down because it made me go to that Ukrainian mechanic, he is a genius.
So this is a 2008 model but it is better and drives better than the current models; ix1, ix3, i4 M5, ix idrive 50 ..... I know because I tried them all and that car I have I like just more than the current BMW models. There is no car I tried that makes me wanna change car, from Lexus, Toyota, Ford, MG, Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Volvo, Renault ....
if I set mode to Sport+ it transforms into a gocart with insane direct steering and all traction control turned off, it begs me to go faster
Where is the car industry going when my 2008 model BMW 730d IMHO to me is simply bettering everything BMW does today
I can go a 10 hour drive Bergen to Oslo almost without breaks .... like it´s a walk in the park, because that car is that good, gentle, cool, good to dive ..... also it has combination of hydraulic and electric servo..... simply better than the electric servo BMW does now
The one car I would liket hough is the Dodge Challenger Hellcat ... but the economy of such a car in Norway with crazy high fuel prices
So now I am gonna fix-up and clean the car, polish it so it looks lie a dream, clean inside and out and make my wife say: Harald we are never gonna change this car
Total cost, around $2100, I would expect this to be around $8000+ if I was going to the BMW certified workshop and I think they would not be able to do this good job, not even close!
I didn't watch the video.Speaking of beemers,
Hi Alex and about the price - This one is expensive for 90s car, but not crazy so: only 80k for a cheap one, with the catch that you'd have to add ocean shipping (about $3k) from Dubai+Import and registration fees:I didn't watch the video.
I identify as a pauper albeit a happy one, not plagued by envy(watching the video would change that).
But I'm still just a little curious about the price.
And I wanted to say hi.![]()
Damn, those cars are sexy.maybe it's not a bad long-term investment
Finding a great mechanic is like finding the gold at the end of the rainbow .... BMW parts prices are insane also if we go to the normal brand shops....not sustainableDamn, those cars are sexy.
Anything that old has got to be a bitch to work on due to corrosion. I'm sure these are not the cars we call winter beaters but even with their low mileage, that first brake job or rusted out brake lines would take like a really good mechanic. Maybe Harald's Ukrainian genius is willing to travel.
I hate being at the mercy of mechanics. It's prejudice for sure and there I know there are some good ones out there. Hell, I'm even friends with one ...
It's time for me to get into my 'short term investment' 2012 Ford Fusion w/ 200k miles and drive like a raped ape while looking for cops. The only thing worse than working is not working.
I can check with him, LOLMaybe Harald's Ukrainian genius is willing to travel.
As mentioned it's in poor condition and second, this isn't M8 at all. Like the video I linked earlier said, M8 was technically never made. According to the listing the VIN decodes to a 1991 BMW 850Ci, which means it's nearly the same as a plain vanilla 850i. and secondly, 850CSi was only introduced in 1992 with 380hp, not 299 as base model. There is one here:

eu ok men antagelig en gåen topp pakning, bobler i ekspansjontanken,, selges derfor rimelig, da eg ikke har tid eller kunnskap til å ordne dette.. fin bil for s...www-finn-no.translate.goog
$21.000 but a lot of work I reckon ..... (read: expensive to fix)
Economy with Norwegian fuel prices will be out of this world

He´s cheater then ... 850Ci is very much NOT M8 ...... buying this car in such condition is at best .... questionable I reckonAs mentioned it's in poor condition and second, this isn't M8 at all.
