Huh?! Surgery? Everything ok?I hope that the surgery went well, Alex. How's the knee doing?
Arthroscopy on the left knee. Yeah, it good for the first 24. No pain, no swelling, lots of laying about and eating ... it's funny how not taking perks is giving me the munchies. This is all I ever wanted back when I was in high school. I must be a fool to be so easily amused. Oh yeah, and the girl has to get me whatever I want. I'm like Jabba the Hut.Huh?! Surgery? Everything ok?
I thought that was for me. I'm still going to pretend that it was.Anybody notice how I left that toe poking out for Greg?
How could we not? It's the only thing in focus. Like you were trying to get us to look at it. SubtleAnybody notice how I left that toe poking out for Greg?

In other boring news I signed up for an account on custommade.com. Added a project, ie speaker cabinets, for the new kit I got. I only asked for basically someone to cut me a kit and put the appropriate cutouts and recesses in and a quote. Curious to see if I get any responses and what prices they would come with.
yes we need more creepy emoji and I know just the place to get emThey need a creepy ewww emoticon to cover that.
No kidding. I just got a quote back from one of the people who responded to my ad. One wants me to call to discuss in more detail. The other, after a little back and forth about specifics, came back with $625 + Shipping. Granted he's doing the cutouts, recesses, shallow dadoes, and some other small stuff to make assembly as easy as quick as possible. Not sold on the price, but having trouble finding an alternative.based on this - http://www.custommade.com/modern-slab-desk-from-reclaimed-wood/by/strongoakswoodshop/
I don't expect to be in double digits![]()
I may have missed it, but why can't you use your school's wood shop?having trouble finding an alternative.
The large cuts are easy and I can get those done. It's the driver cutouts and recesses that I'm having trouble figuring out how to get done without someone else doing them for me.
Well, there are a few reasons why I hesitate to use the wood shop at school right now. That tech area is geared more towards carpentry rather that cabinet building so they might be missing some stuff like a router with circle guide that I would need for the driver cutouts. I also don't know if I'd even be allowed to use the equipment without taking a basic safety course first.I may have missed it, but why can't you use your school's wood shop?
I noticed immediately...Anybody notice how I left that toe poking out for Greg?
