Alex, get back to work
I've had Cheryl running around getting me every little thing for three of the most beautiful days of my life. This is how I have abused the power of sympathy. If I had real power to rule with, it would be glorious indeed.

I've got an hour to get ready for PT ... but I wanna watch another Heroes!
This is complete f^%&in' bullsh!t !!!

Keep the crutches and use them around Cheryl as long as you can stand it. Practice appearing weary and out of breath, but gamely cheerful, as you hobble around.

After my knee surgery, I had about two months left before I got out of the Navy. I had to go back to work :(, but I kept those crutches and used them whenever they saw me. As luck would have it, there was a change in command taking place when I had about 1 month to go. This usually involved everyone in dress uniform standing at attention in some parking lot while speeches are made. And just for grins, the old and new COs inspect the men.

I told my chief that I would polish off all the scuff marks from the crutches so they'd look good for the inspection. He replied that crutches were not part of the dress white uniform, and gave me that 'well played' grin with a wink. Later that day, he came by to tell me I didn't have to go to the inspection :D.

So fakery pays off.

My new friend for hire, Tom, said I was doing pretty good for day 4 ... really good for day 4 ... surprisingly good for day 4. I've been so happy about not being in pain that I'm like f^%&ing radiant. Cheryl would be able to see truth past the reach of spoken lies. The doting ain't gonna last. o_O

ML, I know i don't see you any around here often lately , so you might have missed it. In any case, do yourself a favor and Google Brazilian twister.
They sort of devastated the twister references ever since.
You do understand that Brazilian is required in Rick's league. Just means something a bit different.

So, in gearing up for next school year I created my own forum. Thinking about adding it into my classes and working into assignments and whatnot. Because it's the free trial, the customization is extremely limited, but I can at least get a feel for what needs to be done to get it the way I want it to look and what I would need to do. If I switch to a paid plan, I'd also be able to customize the URL as well.

It was like that for me when I got my vasectomy. I only got 2 days out of it, but they were great days, as the little bit of discomfort was far outweighed by the pampering and continuous, guilt-free, movie watching. :)

BTW,Tom said that it takes 10 - 14 days for the knee to finish doing what needs doing after a surgery. Until then I'm only maintaining range of motion and practicing a correct gate to insure that I don't stress parts of the knee that normally don't see stress.

Canada is tougher than I remember. Only two days of pampering for a vasectomy? That's barbaric and I have to ask if Mixed Couple Twister is really worth all that. You could have just stayed in The Torpedo League.

Should we start calling you "John" now?:D

Gee, don't they normally say things like, "Ooooh, you're fanatastic!"

I guess you aren't paying him enough....:p
He kept saying, "You so big, you so big." At first I was flattered but then he said, "Dude, seriously, get on a f^%&ing diet."

A pair of Mozart Grands are available for $500. I really liked them the one time I heard them. Good thing they aren't close. However the ER18's listed here are a day trip away for my AH nephew. Actually, I'm out of work. I have a driver's license. Oh yeah ... I'm out of money. Tomorrow's news: Very tall bank robber with a limp arrested. Insanity defense successful. Gotta go stretch. Later.

So the guy I was trying to buy the Sanway's from backed out. He found a local buyer and even though he and I had a verbal agreement for 2 of them sold them all to a local buyer anyways.

What a piece of doody. Are there no honest people anymore? I mean, I bet he's the sort of guy who will $&^% you in the a** and not even have the common courtesy to give you a reach around.

I bet I know which parts of this post piqued Alex's interest

While I was on my trip to Eureka, I noticed an audio store right up the street from my hotel. I HAD to go in, and was pleasantly surprised to find some nice gear. I noticed the Parasound integrated amp in there and had to give it a listen (he said they're the first shop in the US to have one in stock). WOW, that thing running just driving a pair of Revel M105s sounded really good. He also hooked up some new Maggies, which of course sounded great too.

In any case, for a small town, I was shocked to find this store and he said the reason they're able to survive is because of their web presence more than their local sales, so I figured I'd rep them a little here. Chris, the owner, was a very knowledgeable and very nice guy who took the time to answer all my questions and I intend to do business with him as well.
